CHINESE STYLE ORANGE CHICKEN
This recipe will make your mouth watering and it’s very easy to cook!
• Soy sauce
• Sherry wine (or cooking wine)
• 1 egg
• Juice of 4 oranges
• Sesame seeds
• Spring onion
• Sunflower oil
Firstly- cut the chicken into small cubes and add an egg, soy sauce and wine.
Marinate it for at least 1 hour. When it’s marinated, add cornstarch to the mixture and fry with plenty of vegetable oil, remove and reserve.
To prepare the sauce- chop ginger and garlic, sauté in a pan and when it’s golden add a little bit of wine. Let it reduce, then add the orange juice and two or three tablespoons of honey, cook it for 3 minutes . Add cornstarch previously diluted in water, the more cornstarch you add, the thicken will be the sauce. When the sauce has thickened –at your choice– add the fried chicken and stir.
In a bowl add the boiled rice and chicken, finish by adding sesame seeds and spring onion.
